Our next client, a Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Inc. referral has been living in his apartment with nothing more than a mattress. He is an Army veteran that served in the first desert shield. He enlisted in the Army right out of high school at the age of 19. His dad served in Vietnam in the military police. This is the reason Matt joined the Army. He signed up to be an MP also but scored so high on his test that he was assigned to the intelligence division. After Matt left the Army, he worked in Insurance and bartended on cruise ships. He also did a little acting in Hollywood.

 Matt lost his wife 3 years ago and his whole world crumbled. He traveled the country to places they had visited and was lost until he ended up in Chicago.
