#MoveInDay #113

Client 113 is an U.S. Army veteran whose recent health and personal problems left him homeless and on disability.

Thanks to the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Inc., he moved into an apartment a few weeks ago but had nothing other than a mattress. Today a wonderful group of volunteers, led by designers Kathy Robbins, Interiors By Julie, LLC Julie Saravia, and Marilyn Cahill along with volunteers Alexandria Chan, Ana Wilson Helen Lindahl, Judith Coleman, Jeanine Kupec, Marla J. Marzec, Mary Gilardi of Keyrenter Chicago Metro Nadia Lopez, Sherry Macheel Kulhanek and heavy lifters James Krivicich, Greg Nesypor owner of Trek Bicycle Store, Tony Burns dad of Gabriella Whitney and fellow veteran Matt transformed his barren apartment into a beautiful, functional  home that reflects his love of fishing and the Chicago Cubs. Special thank you to Kirschbaum's Bakery and Penny Kirschbaum for donating the sweetest part of the move-in!!!
