We couldn’t have done this without you! Like so many of our parents and grandparents, this couple came to America in search of a better life and opportunity. They arrived with nothing other than a hope and a dream and 2 suitcases between them. They came here to work in a French bakery as pastry chefs right before Covid and lost their jobs during the lockdown. What little savings they had was quickly spent on rent with nothing left over to furnish a home. So that’s where we stepped in, using mostly donated, gently used items we created a home that they can be proud of. We are happy to report that they are back to work in the bakery and taking classes to perfect their English. Also, we got to taste and enjoy the most delicious macaroons in the world made by none other than our clients! Can you say “très magnifique”?
