Yesterday our incredible team led by Kathy Robbins and Roxanne Wendel Lostroscio created a beautiful home for an Army Veteran, his wife and 4 beautiful children.

This family was referred to us by Gabriella Whitney of Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans Staff. Gabriella even volunteered with us yesterday and gave up her Saturday to help her client and we are so grateful for her help! We would especially like to thank Chase Nufer (Janeen Kusar-Nufer) and Maxwell McCluskey for the heavy lifting and overall help.

Thank you to our volunteer team who gave up their Saturday to help with this move-in: Sue Warble, Sabrina Vizioli, Dee Hanley Bauer, Vicki Ross, Marilyn Skok, Meghan O’ Connell Haddad, Julie Saravina, Richard Green of Life Storage and daughter Bailey Green. Many of you do not know this but because of the generous storage space we were provided early on 4 years ago by #LifeStorage, our organization was able to prosper and flourish and become what it is today...and we are eternally grateful. A great big thank you to Sam Lostroscio (husband of design lead Roxanne) who always seems to save the day for us when we need him!
