#MoveInDay #84
A few years ago Client #84 was living a “normal” life. She had a career, but stated that she never thought she would lose her job and had more debt than savings. She searched for employment unsuccessfully and ended up living in a homeless shelter after losing her home. She was living in an apartment with only a mattress and folding chair when she was referred to us through our partners at DuPage Pads. As you look at the photos realize that the after photos would still be the befores had it not been for all of the support we get through our wonderful donors and community members! YOU MAKE THIS HAPPEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
Also, our client has chosen to keep her identity private so we have taken efforts to cloud photos that show family members in them and any other identity markers. You’ll notice in the photos that our client loves dogs, however, she does not have one, she stated that it would be her dream someday to see a leash hanging from the doorknob of her apartment. To be honest we said “not on our watch” lol because that’s outside of our area of expertise, but, if you are reading this and you have a canine nonprofit resource, let us know!
Now the thank you’s! Design leads Gina Caruso Sineni, Kathy Robbins, and newcomer Kristen Williams Pisani (we love her already!) and volunteers Jason Huth of #JasonHuthMovers (708) 203-4688 this man is sooooo generous to us with his time and always helps us! Thanks Jay!!! Volunteers Roxanne Wendel Lostroscio, Meghan O’Connell Haddad, Janelle Towne and newcomer Courtney Rusen (interior designer-we hit the jackpot) THANK YOU!!!
