#MoveInDay 65

Today our design team created a home for a family of five referred to us by our community partners Hesed House. Mom and dad work opposite shifts so that they can be home with their children, so there is very little time or energy left at the end of the day to try to put a home together for their family.

Today’s MoveInDay was led by H2H newcomer Gina Caruso Sineni and assisted by Mary Peterson Gibbons and Michele Bjarnson, both trained by Jane Frances. Special thanks to all of our designers and volunteers: Kathy Robbins, Sherry Kulhanek, Debby Meredith, Julie Radtke, Marla J Marzec, Judith Coleman, Briar Croft, Theresa Johnson, Nora Berghorst of JBI Interiors, and Barbara Lambert, Linda Behlau and Michele Bjarnson. Special thanks to our heavy lifters Jason Huth of Jason Huth Movers (708) 203-4688 and Jack Lambert for bringing the muscle!

A special thanks to Taylor Pintaro of Crumbles Cakery for creating this beautiful birthday cake for our clients’ daughter who is celebrating her fifth birthday today! Thank you also to Tracy Canfield for creating custom Pawpatrol and cheetah pillowcases per our client's wish list! Eileen Sumner of Bungalow Bias provided the custom made tote as seen in the bathroom photos. A big thanks to Marilyn Cahill and granddaughter Marin who found out that our client loved cheetah and wanted to do something special for her. They purchased a beautiful cheetah tote filled with all sorts of goodies to let our client know that she is loved! Congratulations to Marin who made her confirmation this past weekend at Saint John of the Cross in Western Springs. Coincidentally this organization started after our founders daughter needed service project hours for her confirmation three years ago also at SJC.

Thank you to everyone that shopped off of our Amazon wish list to make this more special!
