#MoveInDay #131

Design Leads- Marilyn Cahill and Interiors By Julie, LLC

Spent time during the design appointment with today’s client (a referral from Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Inc.) and learned that client is a 32 year old single mom US Air Force veteran who was trained as an aircraft armament on F-15’s. She has a 5 year old daughter and was given emergency housing placement at a local hotel after becoming homeless due to domestic violence.

She is presently job interviewing as she lost her job due to Covid cutbacks. She is very motivated to get her life in order with help from Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans and the City of Aurora, IL, Government who found a townhouse for her and her daughter. H2H Project is now in the process of making her townhouse into a “Townhome” with generously donated furniture and household needs from our warehouse.
