Bridgette and her son, after suffering through a series of unfortunate and unexpected life events found themselves homeless and couch surfing.

When that no longer became feasible they began living in extended stay motels. That’s when she met someone who referred her to DuPage Pads and Bridge Communities, Inc. where they  helped her secure an apartment in a safe neighborhood for her and her son. Bridgette is an assistant underwriter for an insurance company and is getting back on track and looking toward a brighter future. She told us that she barely slept last night because she was “SO EXCITED”!

When our design team leads, Gina Caruso Sineni, and Kristen Williams Pisani got to her home for the initial consultation, they found it  barely furnished and needing  a little love from all of us at H2H. As you scroll through the photos know that the before photos would still be the afters had a community not come together via H2H to help. This was the FASTEST turn around we have had to date, our designers Gina and Kristen literally put this together in 2 days from start to finish and EVERYTHING came from what we had in our warehouse stock! Thank you to our incredible volunteers for a great day, Laura Friel Haggerty (this was her first move-in day and her first time using a drill to hang curtains), Mary Peterson Gibbons Kara ODonovan @StefanieMaloneySlager and Ronnell Perlongo
