 In honor of the lives lost on 911 and in the war that followed we created a home for a U.S. Army Veteran (referral from Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Inc.) Our design team lead by Dee Hanley Bauer and assisted by Meghan O'Connell Haddad met with our client and found out he loves color (he got to choose the couch from our inventory) and also ”boho”. He adores his children and wanted to make sure we created a space unique to their tastes as well. He also loves his #GermanShepherd, Bella. Thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their Saturday morning to transform this empty space into a warm, inviting home using gently used furniture and household items (along with new items). Thank you to all who contributed to the last minute online fundraiser to make this happen.
