Harleys and Horses: Vietnam veteran finally has a home!

Move-in 183

Team leads: Kathy Robbins & Ana Wilson

Tonight, a Navy Veteran will finally get to put his feet up and relax in his cozy recliner within the warm embrace of his new apartment. Our client, a dedicated Vietnam veteran who worked tirelessly throughout his life, found himself without a place to call home. Thanks to the V.A. and his supportive counselor, he has now secured an apartment perfectly suited to his needs, including accommodating his walker.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Linda Farley for creating a delightful welcome basket that set the perfect tone for this new chapter. Kudos to the incredible Team 183 for their efforts: Driver Don Spetter, Gary Bazzioni, Sherry Kulhanek, Luann Raasch Stirech, Stefanie, Sharon & Tim Sullivan, Don & Nicole Herweck, Gia & Luka Schurla, Kathy Robbins, and Ana Wilson.

We extend our special thanks to everyone who donated or purchased items to make this move possible. A shoutout to Holly Hunt Design and Calico Corners for their generous fabric donations. Best wishes to Krispies on the opening of your new storefront—the cherry danishes looked absolutely delectable.

Together, we've made a difference, bringing comfort and joy to someone who truly deserves it. Here's to more happy endings and new beginnings!
